June 24, 2023 was one of the most amazing days! It was such a riot to be a witness to some of our best friends, Scott, and Madison as they became husband and wife!
Weddings are so much bigger than many of us realize. It’s an oath you take before God. It’s a chance for us humans to get a glimpse of the love God has for us, through the love we are supposed to have for our spouses, which is unconditional.
Unconditional love is the love that God has for us no matter what. His love remains patient, and kind. It does not boast, it is not proud, it does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves. LOVE NEVER FAILS.
Being Scotty and Maddie’s photographer was so much more than just taking their photos. I got to capture our best friends start a new chapter! To witness how far they’ve grown, and to see their dreams unfold into reality.
Aside from this wedding being one of the most beautiful events I have ever attended, you could FEEL THE LOVE all around you. It was filled with love everywhere you turned, and with people who were truly excited for their marriage! There were tears, but there was joy. There was moments of raw emotions, but instantly followed by some of the best dancing I've seen since my high school prom?.... My highlights: Obliviously the dancing, but how about Culver's drive through for a butter burger and ice cream between the ceremony and reception, the best mans speech getting interrupted by Levi jumping on the head table, two of my favorite people saying I do, the speeches and how they captured all of Scott and Maddie's personalities.... I could go on and on...
I wish I could take time to tell you the story behind each photo. But I hope while you are scrolling through, you are able to get just a glimpse of how fun/love filled this day was.
